Uttar Pradesh board of high school and intermediate education is a board of school education in Uttar Pradesh state of India. The UP board prepares syllabus for students from class 1 to class 12, for the schools which are affiliated to Uttar Pradesh board. These schools follow the course contents prescribed by Uttar Pradesh board. Uttar Pradesh board conducts three board examinations:
  1. The middle school exam for class 7
  2. The high school exam for class 10
  3. The intermediate exam for class 12

Class 12 examination is the school leaving examination. Uttar Pradesh board prescribes syllabus and course contents for these examinations.
