Orissa 10th Result 2020: The Orissa board of secondary education has announced the result of 10th class. The exams were taken in the week of March and the expected date was first week of May. However, realizing the anxiety of students, the board announced the result one week earlier, on 27th of April 2020. The board has declared that the booklets have not been published and the result is on the website. Students can check their result on the official website of board by entering their admit card number and other details. Orissa HSC Result 2020: Orissa education minister, Debi Prasad Mishra and department secretary Ranjana Chopra both were present at the day of announcement at the head office of board in Cuttack. The board president D. P. Nanda said that the result of 10th class is also available on indiaresult.com apart from the official website. The president also briefed that students can also get their result by sending the admit card number and required detail to 58888. For the timely evaluation of the examination sheets, 16000 teachers were given the duties; those had to come into evaluation centres for the checking sheets. The president said that this year they will only have statistics booklets. This timely announcement of result would help the students to apply for various state and national level entrance tests, as the JEE main has been conducted and result is also declared. The students can now use both result for the admission in the concerned institutes.The board of secondary education Orissa was established after the secondary education act passed by the provisional assembly in 1953. The board has a complete authority to regulate and control the affairs of secondary education in the state. The primary’ duty is to prepare the students for the university education; the board does its duty by preparing a standard curriculum and regularly updating it. The board also provides affiliations to the schools while a large number of students participate annually as private candidates.

The students of Orissa, who were waiting for the result, have both results in their pocket now. The students of JEE advance have also a very little time to prepare for the test. Thousands of Orissa students in the recent years have passed the JEE main and advance in flying colors and now studying in IIT’s and other prestigious institutes all over India.
